Take a bike ride along the banks of the river Yser or take a walk through the nature reserve De Blankaart and be fascinated by the impressive landscape. Fun excursions for the whole family include De Zonnegloed Animal Park (18 km), Bachten de Kupe Open Air Museum (21 km), Plopsaland De Panne (24 km) and Bellewaerde Theme Park and Aquapark (27 km). A visit to the historic towns of Veurne (17 km) and Ypres (22 km) is recommended.
