Super small & cozy little cottage to stay in - a little noisy at night if it's windy/ stormy & a little noisy in the morning with a rooster next door lol - very well equipped and wanting for nothing in terms of everything you need to sleep, cook & have a good time. The check-out was a little confusing as there's a printed list of items in the place that don't match the list that's provided in digital format - other than this, hosts were very accommodating & stay was cute, quaint & fun!! We enjoyed this as a mini-vacay or "babymoon" before having our first baby and also got to bring out mini doxie which was perfect.

Beautiful and quiet cottage

Our first impression was “wow, this is awesome!” Photos do not do it justice. The property was close enough to access everything, yet provided us the quiet escape we were seeking. The booking process was simple along with easy to follow check out expectations. Looking foreword to booking again for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

This little cottage was cozy & comfortable. So animal friendly. The owner was helpful and nice when we had trouble figuring out the entrance. It’s on my list to stay at again when I go back to visit. The toilet seat was heated, loved this 😀

Amazing oasis!

I absolutely loved staying at this Bay cottage, it was so comfortable, had everything I needed, and is in a great location close to some awesome restaurants! I loved how cozy it was, and how thoughtful the decor and items inside are for the guests to use. Will definitely stay here again for my next getaway!

Perfect holiday getaway

We chose the spot as it was close to my families holiday get together. This home was everything we needed, and we were very impressed with all of the amenities. My 13-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter loved the loft. Perfect location. Enjoyed walking to the end of the street for morning coffee. Looking forward to staying here again for our next holiday visit.

The tiny house is the BEST!!!

It is beautifully done, has every amenity you could possibly want, and more! Jonathan is the best host- he went above and beyond to make me and my children feel welcome and at home. My family from out of town will definitely be using the tiny house again.

Awesome Little House by the bay

We had an amazing time here. The house was well designed so it felt really spacious, had beautiful furnishings, and there were amenities everywhere. Large fenced yard, a really cool loft, and even cooler hosts :) Hoping to get back for another trip in the future!

Weekend Getaway

We had so much fun in San Leon - great weather & great restaurants! And the house was adorable! Amazing use of a somewhat small space! Very clean & neat and top of the line amenities! Wine on the balcony at night, breakfast on the patio in the AM! Kids would LOVE the loft upstairs! Definitely will rent this again!!

Great place to stay! Going again soon!!

We had a great time here, there are tons of things to do close to the property. Great restaurants close...If you want to go to Pier 6 to eat make a reservation before you get to town (very good food). Kemah is close and we had a great day there, the beach is close...you can go to Galveston Strand in 20-25min for shopping. The house is great, small but set up perfectly with an awesome patio. Our daughter "loved" the upstairs loft. The AC works awesome, it was really hot when we went in Aug and the place was cool and comfortable. We plan to go back soon. I go down to go fishing with friends, the bay boat launches are right there. I would recommend you bring your groceries...there is a store very close but it doesn't have everything...and prices are a little higher. That store has really good breakfast burritos by the way!! Overall I would recommend this property to anyone. The San Leon area has a few shady places, but the house is close to the water and you are on the quiet side of the road on a dead end quiet street. I think there is a new restaurant at the end of the street within walking distance (we did not get a chance to try it)…I didn't even notice it until we left. Going again as soon as we can, hopefully it's available!!

Better than the pictures!

The property was so clean and had so much useful tech inside. It was a bit small, but had a lot of sleeping options. Everything was totally straight forward. It was a bit far from Galveston proper and had limited beach access nearby, but for the price driving a little each day was worth it!

Perfect for what we needed

We just needed a place we could launch our boat on the bay, do some fishing, and sleep. The parking was a little tight, but we were able park the truck and boat inside a gated and fenced yard. We were advised not to leave our boat docked at the local marinas by the marina owners, so it worked out perfectly. Jonathan was great and easy to contact. It served our purpose well, and gave us a clean place to sleep.

Beautiful perfect peaceful cottage with lake view

This cottage was the perfect little place to get away from the hustle and bustle came down to relax with my sister had a wonderful time everything that we needed was in his cottage perfect hostess they paid attention to all details all you need to bring is yourself and something to wear very nice clean perfect place surrounded around a lot of things to do close to Kemah boardwalk 40 minute drive to Galveston beach has a nice restaurant on pier 6 have to go and don’t forget to try out and grab a snow cone Thanks Jonathan and Patrick

Peaceful & Tranquil Bay Cottage

The Bay Cottage was as described and more. A home away from home is just what we were hoping for and we got it. Plenty of towels, blankets, everything we needed for cooking. Waters in fridge and seasoning available. If you forget your phone charger, they have plenty available for you. We loved how safe and secure we felt with the gate lock and the codes too get in. We also loved how we were 15 minutes or so from Galveston & not in the hustle and bustle of all the tourists and traffic. Jonathan was great on communication with us before our trip and during. He is very accommodating and his hospitality would be 10 stars if I could give him that. We did a crab boil while there on the well shaded and cool porch with bar/sink and grill. Jonathan even provided us with the proper items we needed for the boil. What really made this place wonderful was how we could bring our furr baby with us and he even had his own bed and toys waiting on him. Relaxed him right away after a long trip on the road. Absolutely a GREAT location. We will definitely be making this bay cottage our home away from home in the summers following.

Great place, fully equipped!

This is a great use of the space with everything you will need. Very well laid out with several spaces, from the main living area to a loft for kids. Nice large bathroom and the whole place is updated very well. Enjoyed sitting on the deck during the evening to listen to the water. Many good restaurants close by to enjoy also. Owners were great to work with and provided helpful information on the area as well as the property itself. I will be back and likely stay for a longer period of time!
