"Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!"

"The place is clean but very dated
Needs a refurb exspensive for just a room and no breakfast . You do get some instant porridge and a chocolate pastry . Tea and coffee . OK for 1 night , but would not go again"

"Good stay - if the car park is full, space can be found on nearby side streets.
Nice comfortable room and good breakfast served with flexible times.
Just be aware they host a lot of live music, and it isn't a big building so expect to head down and join the crowd!"

"Parked just around the corner. Received a very warm welcome. We walked a couple of minutes and caught the tram straight to the university of Sheffield. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast.
The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay.
We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )"
