Beautiful home so close to the beach and walking distance to all of our favorite Dewey stops. The place was spacious and very clean, stocked with everything for an amazing stay. Would definitely return to this location!

House itself was great and the location was even better. Just a short walk to the beach made it so easy to go to and from the house for anything we might need. Also just an easy walk to the bars made it easy to get to and from. Great house!

Close to everything

Short walk to beach, fun restaurants and live music. Spacious, lots of balconies and clean.

Beach week

We had a wonderful stay at 17D Emerald Shoals. The new leather couch was a great addition. There were a couple of things that can easily be done make things even better. Clean up all the closets -throw away or store the blinds in the master bedroom closet upstairs, get a new unstained mattress pad, fix the blinds in bedroom that need to be tightened.

Perfect spot for a family beach vacation

After coming to Dewey Beach for several years just us, my husband and I invited our families to join us this year. This house was the perfect spot: super clean, lots of outdoor spaces, enough beds for everyone, etc. But nothing can beat its proximity to the beach and all of the restaurants that Dewey has to offer! We would definitely look into staying here again!

Great week at the beach

Very nice beach townhouse. End unit. Good mattresses. Awesome screened in deck right off the kitchen for outdoor meals. Can see both the ocean and bay from the front decks and rooftop deck. Good common areas on the main level. All around great stay for our party of seven.

Nice house on beach block

Nice comfortable house in walking distance to everything in Dewey. Came here for a winter getaway and had a nice time, although it definitely needs a larger hot water heater, we had to stagger showers in order to not run out of hot water mid shower. Minor issues with this house are there are no doors between the three floors so all the cold air settles to the ground floor and the upper floors are warm.

2023 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience at first was very frustrating as our reservation from the prior year was not entered on the exit of our agent. We lost our usual week and had to scramble to pick a new one. Our new agent was very nice and very helping in finding us a new week. Unfortunately most of our party had to leave early in the week due to prior obligations but hopefully next year we are back on track. We absolutely love the property we stay in and definitely didn’t want to go anywhere else.

The only problem we had was a leak from the HVAC on a rainy night. We could not use one bed because it was wet. The issue was resolved the next day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed at Dewey Beach for 5 or 6 years. We have used Coldwell for the rental. We have always had good service and particularly Joseph G. has served above and beyond expectation. The property was renovated in 2022 and it was excellent. The floors and paint and several other amenities made it much nicer than the previous year (Which was ok as well). We had a small problem with the dryer and Joseph worked to resolve it quickly. it is on the beach block so it was good for our little ones. they had nice beach chairs and the outdoor shower (also upgraded) was great for the kids -and adults.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Dewey Beach. Love the layout of the house. Very nice. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the maintenance. Since we were there after Labor Day there was a lot of work to be done. A little more should be done in season 2 keep it up in shape. The to6aster was broken the hose nozel in the outside shower was broken.the faucet on the third floor bathroom didn't work a toilet and a third-floor bathroom didn't work properly. The screen door on deck did not close. The screens were ripped on the door and in multiple other places. These were just the main issues.

It has everything you need and we noticed some improvements made in 2021. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice place, but...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the lay out and all of the balconies at 17D Emerald Shoals. We also liked how so many restaurants were in walking distance. But there is a major ant problem in this condo. First, we found a lot on the roof top deck. Then I found more in both of the bathrooms on the 3rd floor. The worst was at the end of the week when an unopened box of crackers in the kitchen cabinet was totally infested with ants! We knew there was probably a problem when we saw ant traps all over the kitchen as well as ant spray under the sink.There was also a very odd aroma on the ground floor, maybe urine? But also, this was probably already known since there was a can of room spray on the bench as soon as we walked in. The place needs to be fumigated and really needs to be freshened up with a good cleaning and some paint.

Excellent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this 3 story condo since we had 14 people vacationing. There was enough move around space and perfect distance to the beach. It's further from Rehoboth than we would have liked, but great for first time beach kids. The home wasn't cleaned well considering there was food on the floor and chairs (neighbor said cleaning svc was only there a cpl min). The frig is loud and the first floor smelled of cat litter, but all things manageable.
