I want to issue some constructive criticism because I think the unit was generally nice, but the stay could be made better. (1) The washing machine has a slight leak and does not drain properly. A minor amount of laundry detergent could not be rinsed clean from the load. (2) Several of the doors are not properly hung, resulting in the doors drifting close. This is beyond annoying as you cannot leave a door open. The doors need service. (3) Speaking of the doors - how can there not be door stops in a rental? Thats an accident waiting to happen. (4) The toilets - jeez. How about investing less than 500 per toilet in some new American Standard Champion toilets, with soft close seats. The flush was sort of powerful but this is a small repair that would increase satisfaction. (5) The towel bar in the master shower was loose. Minor fix but must be done. (6) MOST IMPORTANT - the unit was not properly cleaned before our arrival. I cleaned it - there was still sand on the floors. The vacuum in the unit - the bag needs to be changed or the vacuum thrown out - its exhaust really smells. (7) The balcony door was hard to open/close and really needs maintenance (lubritcant). (8) The TVs - come on! Small RCAs?? Jeez - a 4k Samsung or LG cost less than 1k from Costco or Sam's Club. The connection to the TV was poor and the remotes were not working well. I did not come to Dewey to sit around and watch TV, but I also was way unimpressed in the AV set up.
