This is available as monthly furnished rental for 1 month to 6 months, or more. Ask about an additional discount if you book for 3 months or more. Our stunning, newly-renovated four-bedroom with a super fun back yard fire pit and sitting area is nestled on the east side of Troy in close proximity to many SE Michigan locations, including Sterling Heights, Birmingham, Royal Oak/Ferndale, and the rest of metro-Detroit. Our home is ~1,940 sq ft plus a large finished basement which features our entertainment & sitting area along with a beautiful secluded bedroom and two full dual-monitor computer desks (including keyboard, mouse, and dock) along with comfy desk chairs, perfect for Work-From-Home! We also have an awesome back yard including a fire pit, plenty of seating, cornhole for those fun summer days and beautiful string lighting for the nighttime!
Before getting to work, sip your morning coffee (or espresso!) or afterwards, enjoy an evening glass of wine on our patio in our backyard! With a fully-equipped kitchen and an outdoor propane grill, our home is also perfect for cooking or enjoying time with friends and family!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs in all bedrooms + living room + basement entertainment area, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-suite washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!
Layout _____________ The first level of our home (up just two steps from ground level) features three bedrooms (one with its own bathroom and a king bed), two full bathrooms (one of which is in the primary suite), an additional half bathroom, laundry room, and our large kitchen, family and living rooms. The basement features the entertainment area, office with two dual-monitor desk setups, and a bedroom.
Arrive with Ease _____________ Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!
Rest in Comfort _____________ Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforters, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.
Sleeping Arrangements _____________ In addition to one King bed and three Queen beds, we have a queen-size air mattress as well as a pullout couch in the basement! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

Expectations _____________ 99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.
Parking _____________ We have a garage that fits two cars, with room for two additional cars in our driveway. We are located on a quiet street which also allows street parking so if you need additional parking, there's plenty!
Entry _____________ The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the door from the garage to the house. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements _____________ Pullout Couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!
Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.
House Rules _____________ We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. - Respectful, quiet volume, particularly in the evening - No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. - No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. - Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
Getting Around _____________ Our house is just a 10-minute walk (or super short drive) from the bus stop at Dequindre & 18 Mile Rd which allows access to bus routes all throughout SE Michigan! In addition, UBERs and LYFTs run consistently and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the area!
