    Our gorgeous, chic and perfectly-located four-bedroom home sits less than a 2-minute walk from Market North End and a 5-minute walk from the downtown core of Birmingham. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening glass of wine in our secluded back-yard or watch the sunset from our second-story balcony deck. Nestled on a beautiful, quiet street and not only a stone's throw to downtown, but also a quick drive to Royal Oak, Berkley, Ferndale, and Beaumont Hospital, this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!

    Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, Nespresso + Pods, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-suite washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!

    With just a few steps to the front door, our home has a half bath on the ground floor along with the living room and the kitchen. A deck is located off of the living room that leads into the back courtyard area. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Please note that our stairs are a little steep. Finally, there is a shared balcony outside the master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms.

    Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.

    In addition to two king beds and two queen beds, we have a queen size air mattress too if needed! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

    99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:

    We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

    We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

    We have a garage that fits 1 car, with room for 1 additional car in our driveway (tandem - it - blocks the garage). An EV charger is also available, perfect for electric vehicle owners. We are located on a quiet street, which is permit only (we don't have a permit). If you need additional parking, there is a paid public parking garage less than a 2-minute walk away on Woodward!

    Electric Vehicles: Our garage is equipped with a - HomeFlex Level 2 EV Charger w/ Tesla Adapter, which works with the Tesla Model 3, Y, S, X, and Cybertruck.

    Also, please do not block or park in our neighbor's driveway. We love our neighborhood, and want to respect their space.

    The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the side kitchen door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.

    When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

    Extra Sleeping Arrangements

    Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

    We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:

    - No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
    - Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
    - Please leave your shoes at the door.
    - No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
    - No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
    - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
    - Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

    While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Birmingham/Royal Oak/Ferndale and Plymouth/Northville/Canton areas!

In town for a wedding.

Soooo close to the cutest town. Very short walk to shopping, dining, bar scene. Photos are accurate and the house was very clean and well cared for.

Lovely Stay

Our family of five adults came in for a long weekend to visit our first grand baby who was born in January. The house was a perfect place and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping in Birmingham. Would stay again if need be.
