Great location downtown. We made the best of a bad decision to stay here. Check-in online only was a nightmare! App kept freezing up. Room was spacious but very noisy to the traffic below. Needed to keep the windows open to air out the oversprayed Fabreeze. We won’t stay here again.

Our online check-in is meant to be seamless, but we're sorry for the trouble you faced. We are always happy to deliver a white noise machine and earplugs to aid sleep. The area was a little sketchy. In addition, the main photograph on the ad which purports to be the lobby of the hotel was actually a different building altogether. False advertising to say the least. However, the room was nice and comfortable. I liked having a kitchen and coffee and a washing machine. Staff were friendly.

I Loved the space. It was beautiful and so was the view. I didn't like that the parking was difficult. It was cold on the day I checked in and I had a lot of bags to carry across the street. Other than that, The stay was great and I would book again.

The property was very clean and easy to find. I would suggest some WD-40 on the apartment door hinges! Very squeaky! Parking was close and easy to access. Downtown is very walkable and safe.

There is important & vital need for arriving/departing guest an area for loading/unloading, No loading/unloading for luggage, groceries, etc. area for guest (I received a $45 parking ticket in front of the hotel), Housekeeping never cleaned my room dury my stay

Loved that the property was close to the Sports complexes. We were able to walk to the games. Also loved the apartment feel, did not feel like a hotel. Will definitely be using them again

This was our second time staying at this property, and it's a solid choice in downtown Detroit. The extra space is really helpful for working remotely, and the wifi is fast. The fitness center is a nice feature, but there were no towels or equipment wipes. It does feel cheap - for example, the bedding is low quality and scratchy. But the apartment was well-stocked, and everything worked well.

We had a great stay for a recent weekend getaway. We were on the second floor and had a great view of the city. It was clean and the kitchen had some dishes, glasses and cooking utensils (limited). The bed was very comfortable. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and sports venues. We did here some noise from the traffic but it wasn't too bad. Communication was great and we didn't have any issues. We would stay here again.

Great location, close to restaurants, attractions, etc. The unit itself was not great, I had paid for an upgrade from a studio but that was not honored. The floor tile in the bathroom was popping up in spots, the bathroom mirror was dislodged from its mount, the walls were scuffed, and there were coffee cup stains on the nightstand. Sonder usually has a great reputation, so I was disappointed in what we experienced.

We were accidentally booked into a room that was too small, and the staff was incredibly helpful and prompt in getting us a bigger room right away. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Decent stay. Everything was clean and quiet, easy check in and check out. We have 2 adults and 2 kids, and wish they had made the pull out bed (or at least put the duvet in the cover), as it was tough to wrangle late after the basketball game.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The property was fairly well maintained but did need some additional cleaning. Our room had a city view which was neat until you tried to get some sleep at night and then there was too much traffic noise. Our Deluxe Suite really needed a much larger shower in it and had the room for it, as well as needing more counter top space. Additional seating in the living quarters would also be very helpful. Overall, knowing all this, we will stay again and modify our room preferences next time.

The prices were perfect so I hope they don’t raise them. We were in town for individual wrestling States at Ford Field and it was so nice to have a place with a separate room for the baby to take a nap and be undisturbed. A lot of our group stayed at MGM and I think it was highly overrated for the price!! We will definitely be back and I’ve told a lot of people about Sonder!!

I liked the modern minimalist style of the studio apartment. The view of downtown Detroit from the apartment was amazing! I liked the fact that the kitchen was stocked with plates, glasses, and basic cooking tools. It was very helpful to have a washer/dryer in the unit. The atmosphere was generally much more calm than that of a hotel. My only criticism is that the common areas such as the lobby and the gym could have been kept more clutter free. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, and I would stay there again.

I like everything about this property. It was a peaceful place to stay. The room I had was very beautiful. I love the fact I was able to wash and dry my clothes.They had everything you could need while staying there. I would definitely recommend this place.
