"great pool close enough to national park but hotel is a little tired"

"Fint opphold på dette hotellet"

"Very nice place. The people were very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend the private safari the drivers are really good."

"Positive Review Had a wonderful stay at Hantara Udawalawe. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide great support. The peaceful surroundings and overall hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!"

"We can’t say enough good things about the staff - the hospitality was amazing! They went over and above to look after us! We did not realize you could book a safari drive with them but based on the level of service I wished I had booked with them. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. "La habitación estaba bien, mi única queja es que en mi reserva constaba vistas al parque y la habitación estaba en la planta 0, y las vistas eran un muro con los sistemas de aire acondicionado, y la pared de la trasera de la cocina por el otro, es decir vistas ninguna. Una vez más nos dan la peor habitación de la gama contratada por haber reservado con Expedia."

"Honestly a very disappointing hotel. Online it looks lovely but the reality of metal construction without insulation means a boiling hot room that the AC can’t counteract and from others walking. The restaurant was comparable to Faulty Towers! We ordered a bottle of wine and after waiting for 15mins we’re told they didn’t have it, other drinks on the menu weren’t available, food was actually lovely but arrived at random times and the staff looked perplexed when asked anything. Also, and not...

"The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions."

"Heerlijk zwembad en super vriendelijke eigenaar! Eten was goed geregeld en lekker lokaal en ook met de safari werden we goed geholpen. "

"This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30. The same for dinner. We also told them we needed to leave on the final day at 7.30 so wanted breakfast at 7. We arrived at the breakfast tent at 7 and no one was there. Unfortunately it was the same for the...
