"When I needed to look for a place for my family to stay so that we can attend a funeral I found the perfect place. There's beautiful woods to explore as well as a creek that you can see out the window. There are accommodations for everything you need inside. I'm so glad to have had this opportunity to bring my family from Florida to experience New York like I did as a kid growing up on my grandparents farm."

"Perfect location to get away and have some quiet time without being very far away from local activities. Spacious inside and out so your not sitting on top of one a other. Some things to take note, house does get hot and stuffy, bring some fans. There are ceiling fans in the downstairs bedrooms and an AC unit in the loft upstairs. "We had very good trip to the Avoca/Hornell area. The home was clean and comfortable and the owner was responsive to messages throughout our stay. This is a good place for 5 to 8 people. It is very large and there is a lot of room to spread out. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Hammondsport. The hotel is clean and new and clearly well maintained and run. We tried out most of the amenities - the breakfast, pool, nightly firepits. The daily breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I have enjoyed and the ladies who managed it were so helpful and kind. The pool was great fun for the kids and the firepits were an unexpected plus.
