"A no-frills hotel which is absolutely wonderful. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean which is very important. Upgrades will be done per the front desk. Breakfast is no longer being served but there are plenty of places in neighboring towns for food. There is plenty of parking, vending machines for snacks and amazing sunset views."

"This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!"

"Travelled up to Upstate New York to spend a weekend going to Saratoga Race Course and was so blessed to find this gem on the Mariaville Lake. The price was very fair and Tony and Patti were fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back and do less! "The motel was very clean ...but a bit small however its a good rate for a night or 2 ..manager is so nice and informative about the area. The best part is its so close..walking distance to Fonda speedway..and close the Glen Ridge motorsports park. Since we were racing our car and going to watch races too...it was an awesome place to stay. Def may stay again there!"
