"My friend and I were excited to get away during the New years week. We got everything from warm mid 40s to 6 inches of snow and low 20s. We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. "My boyfriend and I stayed here for a fall weekend up in the Catskills! Instructions for check in were super easy, Rachel was always responsive to any questions, and the cabin was new and clean. "The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future."
