"The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from SLU, as we live several hours away in Massachusetts. Overall, it was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, it rained and was very cold while we were there, so I can’t comment on any of the water activities. The view from the deck is lovely! We saw a small beaver and a great blue heron."

"This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. "Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights with our golden retriever. Such a beautiful setting and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat and boat house. We swam in the lake every day. Highly recommend checking out the Rainbow Falls trail and Lampson Falls trail nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and beds were comfy. "

"We enjoyed our time on the lake at Ron and Sandy’s. They were very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect with great swimming and on a quiet area of the lake. The camp was well stocked and comfortable. The kids are asking already to go back next summer."
