"This house was physically perfect for us. The number of bedrooms, the layout of the house (wonderful for gatherings), the pool and the fenced in yard was perfect for our large family and the pets that came with us. Hanging out in the open spaces, cooking together and just enjoying each other was awesome and easy. Having put that very important part of it first, there were some "bumps". "The camp/cottage is not right on the water as the pictures would lead you to believe. If your looking for privacy this not the place. While your tucked away in mountains, there are camps stacked all aournd you and the water. The owners were helpful when we had some trouble locating then entering the camp."

The direct lake access made our experience unforgettable, with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards provided for everyone to enjoy. "We booked the property to attend a music festival with college friends. This was one of the more unique rentals I've stayed in. It had all the basic amenities and lots of space, but what really sets it apart is the personality of the owners that comes through in the way it is furnished: cabin-chic and mid-century modern furniture. "The hotel had no record of my reservation for July 25, 2026 booked through Expedia when I arrived. The new owner told me by phone from another location that the hotel was fully booked and had an ownership change. My companion and I were left high and dry with no place to stay in Bennington. I had to reject an offer of accommodation in Rutland 50 miles away. Expedia and new owner, please take responsibility for this lapse."

"It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!"

"What a delightful little cottage! Windows on all sides let the sun and stars in and the weather out. We were welcomed by grazing cows and saw a spectacular firefly show at dusk. The perfect escape from the modern world."
