"Wonderful mountain retreat away from everything, thebpoctires really dont do it justice. We went for a couple days for our anniversary. The host is on property if you need anything, but you'll barely see him. We'd definetly stay here again. Check out the Veterans Memorial Highway, and the Country Bear diner."

"The property is not freshly renovated, but it’s in perfect order, everything works: kitchen appliances, window ac units in the bedrooms, tv, wifi, lamps etc. Also everything is squeaky clean, Location is very convenient. It was a pleasure to communicate with the host, Christine. Very friendly and helpful, she was all that you might possibly want or need. I am definitely keep all this in mind when making new vacation plans."

"Our stay worked out just fine. The bathroom was large and well lighted for the size of house. The kitchen was well stocked. The bath linens were of high quality. More towel racks for the kitchen and bath would have been nice. It is a TINY house so expect to feel a little cramped at times, especially if the weather is bad and you cannot enjoy the spacious outdoors. "We had an absolutely amazing time staying in Shannon’s “Home Away From Home”! We were in town for a graduation ceremony and this was the perfect choice! There are a lot of thoughtful touches that show that the hosts really went the extra mile. The beds are large and very very comfortable. "Perfect location to stay for an event at the Valcour Inn. Best suited for 1 couple with a child or 2. Tight fit for 2 couples - consider the larger house.If bringing a dog - do let them know in advance (I didn’t realize they needed to be notified in advance of the dog as the post said pet friendly.)Also, expect drop-bys from the owner with his children as you checkin and an hour before you checkout. "Perfect size house for large group or multi family accommodation. Host was very responsive and courteous. The mountain setting and views were amazing. The younger family members really enjoyed the game and exercise room. Others enjoyed the walking trails and nature walks.
