"It was our first stay at the King Arthur although we have been visitors to the pub for many years. We were thoroughly impressed with room number 8 from the moment we entered, spacious,clean, great views over the beautifully kept gardens, great shower room and a credit to the house cleaning team. "Staff were fantastic from checking in to servicing the room and our needs. Nothing was any trouble. Restaurant staff were amazing along with all the chefs. Food was amazing cannot fault any meal we had. Nice garden area to sit outside The only thing to mention is outside our hotel room door (room 5 first floor) there must be a generator as every morning from 7am onwards.
