"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. "Beautiful property! We stayed in the one bedroom cottage which was next to the owners’ home. We loved our stay - the house had absolutely everything we needed - plenty of towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, great WiFi. Loved having coffee in the morning and evening drinks while looking at the view and listening to the waves crash. The 2 patios (upper and lower - right on the rocky beach) were great and also perfect for star gazing at night "

"The beach is with-in easy walking distance of the house. You can easily see the ocean through the trees and easily hear it. The king bed was super comfortable. The restaurant in the same parking lot as the house was one of the best out of all that we tried. The laundry works and is up the hill just a little ways. While you're waiting, there's a really nice place to sit and look at the ocean. Rick dove with the dive shop here almost every day and they are amazing! "
