"Room was excellent as were the amenities. Access was easy and the cabin (Bamboo Cabin) was very quiet and extremely private. Bath Hpuse was very good as was the shared kitchen - clean, well equiped and round an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for those wanting something off the beaten track."

"Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. "Great location. There is no AC at this property except one portable in the bedroom and it was hot in there. It did cool off in the evening if you put a fan in every window. Everything is very old and dated, but for the price it was great. Plenty of space. The downstairs neighbor was friendly and it was a very short walk to the bay. Overall if we didn’t plan to spend any downtime at the house, I would stay again. But if you want AC and an updated tropical feel, this is not the place for you. The...

"Cheryl was a very responsive host. House was in good condition. No AC but generally not needed. View was very nice. Overall very quiet area but occasionally a dog barking or a neighbor playing music during the day. Kitchen supplies were the usual VRBO assortment. Bed was comfortable. One downside was the long drive up and down the hill to get to the main road. On the other hand this is likely what makes the area so quiet. Sunsets were very nice. Overall, a very enjoyable vacation."

"This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals.
