"The person on reception was nice, they appeared to be working alone so did a good job. Polite and was quick to help.
Hotel was grubby, noisy and in need of upgrading. Had to switch rooms as the first room (#10) the windows had a huge gap and wouldn't close so let in a lot of cold air. The second room was marginally improved but the heating wouldn't come on, shower head was disgusting so didnt use.
Gaps under doors to the corridor meant you could hear all passers by.
Far too expensive for...

"The property is a bit tired. It is cheap and convenient if traveling by train but £10 parking on top of the room is pricey. Rooms at the front are quite noisy as they are single glazed and the trains start at 6am."

"Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village."
