"I totally enjoyed my stay at Mangoes. The owner was very accommodating, pleasant and very customer oriented. My trip was a business trip, it is 25mins to Roseau but after a hectic day at the office Mangoes was ideal for relaxing. There are lots of mosquitoes but that is expected with the location but a huge net covers the bed and I had lots of bug spray. There is not much to do in St Joseph so having a vehicle is recommended unless you are happy remaining on the compound. If I ever return, this...

"The location of Elaine's is perfect for exploring Dominica. We had a fantastic 11 day stay and managed to catch the sunset from the deck at Elaine's almost every night. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, the place was clean with plenty of spare towels and beach towels, the AC worked very well (and was quiet!). "Our cottage was right on the beach and we went to bed each night with the sound of quiet waves lulling us to sleep. We went for a diving trip and Cabrits Dive Shop was a short walk away making it very convenient. The beach is beautiful! Staff was kind and kept the place clean and neat. "
