"It was an unforgettable stay . The Domaine itself is a unique property with a lot of land to explore, and you can also use their amazing facilities like gorgeous fitness, tennis, badminton, pool, etc. The room was perfect in every way: lighting, comfort of the bed, linens, huge, very well lit bathroom. We were invited to the BBQ dinner and hesitated first, being with the dog and also being pescatarians. We went there just to see if it would be ok, but it turned out to be one of the most amazing...

"After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed."

"What a lovely gite this is. A hidden gem in rural Charente, and we absolutely loved our stay here at Chocolate Box Cottage.
It is a beautiful spot. And if you want a quiet location, this is it. A real get away from it gite.

"Unser Aufenthalt in der gite "phoenix" war wunderbar! Die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Berner Sennenhund hat das 10.000m² große komplett eingezäunte Grundstück mit dem kleinem Teich sehr genossen. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen. "

"Lovely house situated in a very quiet area. Property was very clean and comfortable, well maintained with good furniture. Plenty of parking area. The swimming pool is great and kept clean with the owner working hard to keep it that way.
