"Even with the abundance of photos that are posted on the listing, this cabin still offered pleasant surprises and whimsy. The bird watching that you can partake in from the rear deck…what?!! A group of turkeys even paid us a visit!!!!The cabin is so well appointed…we overshopped. You truly only need to bring the food that you want to eat. The coffee and tea selections had something for everyone and I was with 3 senior women who have very particular tastes! Each bedroom is so well laid out that...

"It was great to have a little home base while we explore and hike the surrounding area. We also had it pretty nice and cool. Be warn, it doesn’t stay super cool all day as it was hot. It was around the 90s and the ac barely kept the place at 78 during the day. But you’re supposed to be out anyways. Pleasant stay."

"Villa was very spacious and nestled in a beautiful area. Also very close to Starved Rock. We had a cozy stay and appreciated the quiet! Destiny was also very attentive and always responded quickly if we had a question. Definitely recommend!! "

"Our stay was great. There were just a few unclean areas noted. There were cobwebs on the light in the downstairs bathroom and linens left in both the washer and dryer. It was also listed as 0.5 miles from the August Hill Tasting Room. It was 2 miles from the tasting room and not walkable due to the stretch of highway with no sidewalk. Overall, it was a great place and we definitely would stay again!"
