"This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. "Boyd Pond is really more of a private lake. It’s a nice size… big enough to explore and it never felt crowded. It was small enough that we felt safe letting our teen boys boat by themselves. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, bye nearby towns are very small and you need to drive around 30min to get to a grocery store, ice cream etc. We did take a day trip to Wescott Park and spent the day on the beach on Lake Ontario and highly recommend that.
