"I had a wonderful few days hiking with my dog. Great house and immense amount of property and land to walk the dog in, even if I didn’t want to drive to the trails to hike. Fabulous retreat! And the hostess was great and accommodating."

"The place was exactly as depicted in the pictures - fresh, clean, cozy, comfortable, serene with a gorgeous view! The reason I'm only giving it an overall rating of 4, is because: 1 - There's no bathtub (yes, the description clearly states shower only - but come on! e/o loves a bath after a tiring day..) 2 - There is a raised stone slab on the floor where the fireplace should be. "Our stay at the Roxbury Motel was great. Our room was clean, and the decor unique. The whole place had great character and the front desk people were friendly. My only concern was that when I booked our room, it didn't say it was at the motel, which is a separate, but nearby, location from the Roxbury at Stratton Falls. Our friend were staying there and we didn't realize until we arrived that our place was down the road a couple of miles. Other than that, it was a great stay."
