"We came to stay the weekend to visit friends. The whole place was very nice and clean, but there was a weird chlorine stench to the whole place despite them not having a pool. It was not as bad in the room, but still very disturbing. I'm just assuming this is from too much bleach use but don't really know. I still highly recommend as it is really nice! "

"Secluded and quiet but close enough to get to either Shreveport or Ruston. We rode up Hwy 519 to check Lake Claiborne and Homer. Then back down to Minden. Very scenic."

"Everything is very dirty from the moment you enter until you settle into the room. On the other hand, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke when smoking is prohibited inside the rooms, and even more so since I was going with a small child and I didn't have the money to rent another hotel, so I couldn't leave. It is not recommended to use it in an emergency, but it was a terrible experience."
