"It could do with more cleaning. The hallways were clean and smelled fresh but the room carpet needed deep cleaning with dust bunnies along the corner skating . The carpet looked discoloured and the floors creaked. The pillows were so flimsy and my duvet had a rip on the underside. "This was our third consecutive stay—and our last. Based on our repeated experience, we can confidently say that the rooms feel dated, with very basic and worn bathrooms. While the staff is generally polite, the bar and restaurant offer a very limited menu, and the quality is mediocre."

"Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."
