"Todo perfecto. Lo mejor, la buena onda de Tony, la persona de la recepción. Habla inglés nativo. Nos recibió muy bien y en la mañana, antes de partir al aeropuerto, nos hizo un desayuno muy abundante y rico."

"Ok - where do I start! The “rooms” where not ready when we arrived- no one was expecting us in fact, I spoke to the lovely lady who owned the place and she explained that her rooms where usually pay by the hour (ugh). We had no choice but to stay here - one of the rooms had no lock and another had no bed! This was soon rectified but not to a satisfaction we would expect. There where no televisions in the rooms, no fridges (not even a plug socket!) one room didn’t even have bedding!...

"I chose this hotel because it is close to the airport and after a long exhausting flight I knew I would want a nice cozy bed. Accosted by taxi drivers AR the airport I knew I wanted a less expensive tuk tuk. One guy told me I have a tuk tuk let's go, well he lied it was a taxi. He told me he would give a food price. Finding the hotel is tricky from hotels.com so he called the hotel and knew where to go. It is also known as Ceylon villa. I paid 700 rps, it should be around 3-400 at most but I was...

"This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again"

"Als letzte Übernachtungsunterkunft vor unserem Rückflug nach Deutschland haben wir zufällig dieses kleine, tolle Haus gefunden (nur zwei Zimmer). Perfekt gelegen: die Nähe zum Flughafen (knappe 15 Minuten Fahrt) aber herrlich im Grünen, am Rand von Reisfeldern. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit vielen Plätzen zum Entspannen (im Garten, auf der Terrasse oder im Haus). Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen (mit leckerem Saft und erfrischendem Tuch) und haben noch eine sehr interessante Führung...

"I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are basic but clean. The man working here is fantastic! He helped me plan my bus route to Tissa, showed me how to get to certain places in Negombo, provided me with an umbrella to shade myself ruin the intense sun while walking around, etc. it's a 2min walk to the bus station as well "

"The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated. For the low price, it exceeded our expectations. The best part was the friendly thoughtful...
