"Lovely house with a lot of space pool and large area to play.The reason for the 3 star is because there were a few things which surprised us and cumulatively these did affect things overall.The oven in the main house didn’t work which was mentioned on the previous reviews in the book - it actually did but there was a flick of a switch needed so we spent the 1st 8days without in a self catering place.The air conditioning was not in the whole place as we had interpreted from the write up and the 2...

"Beautiful house set within extensive gardens amidst the tranquil Charentes countryside. The House is comfortable, well equipped and full of character. The large garden is private and fully enclosed, with lots of quiet corners to sit and read or just admire the view. The fenced off pool area is excellent - and features ample seats. The Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. All in all this is a wonderful place for a holiday with friends or family in a beautiful corner of south west France."
