"Everything was lovely except for the air conditioning in the cabin was insufficient during the hot days. It was very hot inside and only was it bearable at night as it rained with the windows wide open. The onsen should be included in the price.

"A 5 star experience in a wonderful wooded area of the city. Striking design and great ambience combined with top level amenities, excellent food and friendly staff make the stay at this hotel an experience that I will always remember. Get ready to be spoiled when staying at this hotel! Part of the amenities also includes plenty of parking and a free shuttle service to the train station."

"Very nice hotel -- well located on the main street that leads from the train station to the Ginza shopping street. Decor is French, not Japanese, and there are no grounds. The hotel is small -- only one restaurant, which serves an expensive, French set meal, hotel rooms and separated indoor and outdoor onsen for men and women. The breakfast buffet was great, as was the lounge/bar area where you could serve yourself, tea, coffee and soda most of the day and where complimentary sparkling...
