"Very cozy with nice grounds. There are no TV's in the rooms, which we did not mind but may not be right for everyone. The bed did not have a very good mattress, so if you have a bad back the more predictable mattresses of a hotel chain may be better."

"We stayed here last year for a golf tournament at the nearby golf course. It is quite and comfortable. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Same as this visits. This year however the room was not as clean as usual, areas were dusty and stains on the bed skirt. Just little things like no kleenex in the room and when I asked the person at the front desk said they did not have any. The breakfast buffet was very sparse."

"Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat."

"My colleagues and I (three adults) stayed one night as were in Glen Rose for business. The location is remote but not too far from Glen Rose or activities in the area. It’s a nice unit with basic amenities for a quick stay. We would stay again if we planned another trip to the area. The only negative was the proximity of the unit to the dog run for the residence. There were two dogs barking late into the night. Nothing that was too obtrusive but anyone who is a light sleeper may have a hard...
