"The room is has a modern, chic look and was very clean, it was a delight! The breakfast box provided was also a nice treat. Just note that all the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there are quite a few steps to carry your luggage up and down if you bring any."

"This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! "I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was...

"What a beautiful old hotel! The staff were absolutely wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable :) we had dinner in the bistro and it was delicious and fresh! Great location, we went for a lovely hike around the lake! Thanks for having us!"
