"The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. "Unfortunately, when we got there, there had been a glitch in the system and the property, although vacated had not been cleaned and so all the beds were made and no clean towels and the bins weren’t emptied. I got in touch with the host who sent the cleaners in and they did a very good job of cleaning the place and said that they wouldn’t charge us for the clean so although I’d already paid it to the owners, I don’t know if they will refund it to us. .
