"Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers."

"Helpful staff"

"Very nice and confortable and close to shops, restaurants and supermarket. "

"Perfect place for rest"

"On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"Great location…lovely view of the park from my room.Staff are fantastic…I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for a wedding just outside of the village and it was just perfect. The lady on reception last Saturday (17thOct) in the afternoon /evening was great, so informative and took our photo no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. The radio in the room was also a nice touch instead of a tv. Thank you."

"Everything the hotel lacked wss completely made up by the excellent service offered by Margueite. Thank you for your efforts and understanding."

"Stayed before and this time didn’t disappoint. Lovely rooms staff friendly and helpful."

"Great spot for a traditional English experience. The staff are fantastic and helpful. I recommend the breakfast option; it has a great hot menu, and you'll get much more than just the buffet table. Rooms are clean and have all the essentials. The area is very central. It certainly appeals to an older demographic. If you're fine with that, this is a wonderful experience. Well maintained and managed."

"Great food. Lovely warm pub. Great staff."

"Nice place, kind attention. Good food"

"Good food, nice quiet hotel"

"Walking the SWCP and this hotel was perfect for my needs. It was clean, friendly staff and the onsite pub/restaurant served good quality food. Highly recommended"
