It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient."

"Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. "

"Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! "

"Had an absolutely lovely stay at this home. Mr Tanaka welcomed us warmly and provided us with every amenity you can think of, including delicious snacks and breakfast foods. We loved the sweet neighborhood, away from the tourist scrum. There are buses and trains to major tourist attractions that are convenient. Altogether very fun to stay in a traditional style home. "
