"Very supriced lovely hotel rooms large staff friendly 15 minutes to town walking in a straight line will go back as we stayed 1 night would like to stay longer"

"I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub."

"Hotel is near to an event venue I attend pretty often, so is very convenient, and reasonably-priced, and I will continue to use it. I must today give it an additional accolade, as 2 of the staff were most helpful and concerned when I tripped on a mat as I was going to check out! No harm came to me, but I was a little shocked, and most impressed by their helpful attitude!"

"Wonderful stay - beautiful building and grounds and very helpful and pleasant staff who make you most welcome. Its wonderful that such a historical building is being saved for future generations to enjoy - local walks are lovely, and interesting to see the original buildings of the estate - ie Forge, Coach house, Farm, Barns etc still in use as delightfully renovated properties. If you play golf its an added bonus - golf course is amazing!!"

"Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge "
