"We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We...

"Little Blue Bungalow was very welcoming and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and we enjoyed visiting Elkin. We hiked in Elkin and on the Parkway, which was about 30-45 mins away. Really a very nice setting."

"The house was beyond beautiful, it exceeded our expectations completely. It had everything we needed, and more! Lisa and Gary made the experience even more sweet by being so helpful in finding family friendly things to do and even giving our son some toys they had to play with, he loved it all so much. They went above and beyond, and it truly made our stay so much sweeter. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to town. Fully recommend, couldn’t ask for a better place! "
