"I’ve stayed here before. This property is the nicest hotel in Newcastle, but it’s starting to show its age. We got a room with just a shower, which wasn’t a big deal for me. Kids like the tub. Quiet area, plenty of parking. Pool area needs attention. Hot tub was out of service for repairs. The pool seemed to be a bit cold for dad. The steps on the ladder in the deep end need to be fixed, as the top step spins upside down."

"Room was next to the highway and listened to trucks all night long."

"Excellent room, older property well maintained and very tidy. Lots of welcoming touches."

"Sweet little cabin in a beautiful area."

"The community breakfast is in the main home, and while I’m not normally a social person I found this delightful. The food was homemade and the company was friendly. While the cabin was rustic it met our needs and everyone was very friendly and the property was lovely. I will say that it’s off the beaten path; there were times in our drive when we questioned if we were driving to a dead-end so don’t panic if you feel lost. Additionally, if you have someone with mobility issues the cabins loft is...

"Perfect stop for the evening. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset."
