"The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive."

"Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive."

Tucked right on the water, it offered a serene, calming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The family-run hosts were incredibly thoughtful. We signed up for a pontoon boat tour and we saw eagles, dolphins, and ponies! every detail was taken care of, making us feel truly at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge."

"The location of this property was perfect. Though it was nestled near neighbors, it was quiet and felt private. We were able to ride our bikes into town easily and didn’t have to drive during our stay. Great accommodation for a low-hassle trip. We brought our own bedding and towels."

I love older homes, and this one has been very well maintained.Although I did not cook in the kitchen, it was well supplied with everything one might need. "The Brass Crab is a fantastic house for a family vacation. While not overly large, it comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 young children. The kitchen was appropriately stocked and there were plenty of baby items so you don’t have to pack your own. The house was extremely clean. While we didn’t use the backyard, it is a nice large flat yard to play outside. The host was very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area. Definitely recommended. "

"Family Tides is absolutely amazing. From the breathtaking view of the waterfront to the cleanliness of the property, everything was spectacular. We spent so much time fishing off the dock and taking in the scenery from the deck. We will be back!"
