"What a gem! The Boathouse was a lovely place to spend Memorial Day weekend! We enjoyed the lake, kayaking, fishing, swings, and walks with our dogs. Our hosts, Kristy and Casey, welcomed us and made the experience a memorable one for our family. We hope to return!"

"We had a wonderful time. The cabin was comfortable and well organized. The view of the lake was amazing. We were in the area to learn more about the Minnesota State School as our dad grew up there but also enjoyed Mall of America and the mill in Fairbault. It was perfectly located between the three locations. We enjoyed dining at the various local restaurants and also cooked on the grill at the cabin. No complaints here!"

"Hosted a bachelor party with 8 of my friends. It was the perfect place for us to relax yet still have things to do. The basketball court is tons of fun and it was awesome to jump in the lake right after. There is some sand and it’s up kept very well. There’s a nice doc and some water toys to use. "Pleasant lakeside cabin in quiet neighborhood, excellent deck and patio with lovely view of the lake. Great sunporch, which was especially welcome during a passing rainstorm. We could enjoy the lake while staying cozy and dry. Friendly turtle in the front yard. :-) Would stay again. -Kerri"

"The yard and shoreline could use some TLC. The house is much larger than it appears from the outside. It was a great size for our family. We would probably return but would like to see the yard with more curb appeal. "

"Visiting husband’s parents at their Asst Living. Family members were all from out of state. Good place to stay. "

"Perfect place for our 5th Annual Girl's Weekend. Plenty of space for 4 generations to gather. Elderly aunts had pick of bedrooms on main floor. Perfect distance from the Twin Cities. Additional family who couldn't spend the night were able to pop in for the afternoon. Well equipped with kitchen ware, towels, soap, etc. Easy checkin. "

"People were dealing/smoking drugs outside or just sitting in their cars. Also I had to put out a cigarette but fire outside the hotel. When trying to find water to put out said fire all ice machines and water fountains were not functioning. Otherwise it was clean, great front desk service and awesome location."
