"The room was interesting. The beds were comfortable. The owners were an amazing family. Being the 1st time at this type of lodging was a little disappointing. The description said breakfast included served 8 to 10. This ended up being a bagged breakfast with a sandwich to be microwaved in your room. We were told garbage could be brought down to the front desk. The restaurant had limited hours. Pretty hefty fees were charged for limited services."

"I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! "

"The house was in the perfect location for our exploration of Pope County. Shotgun Eddy's is right down the street but we didn't have time to try the food. Lots of hiking trails in the area. The house was clean and check out process simple. "

"Our beds were cheap, thin, and uncomfortable. The piece of metal stripping between the carpet and kitchen floor was bent up and not safe if someone stepped or tripped on it. We put the trash can on top of it. The door lining was off some. Incredible view! "

The home was perfect for our gathering but perhaps the most perfect part of the home was the yard and the creek!! Southern Illinois held so many hiking and waterfall adventures. "We had the most amazing time staying at this awesome 3rd-floor penthouse! My two friends were in from Vegas, and I live locally in Costa Mesa. The penthouse was perfect—spacious, clean, and with stunning views of the Pacific. I slept in the living room on the surprisingly comfy Murphy bed, with the sliders open to hear the waves at night. "My sister and I stayed here for the weekend to go hike garden of the gods. It’s a 2 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin was easy to locate, private, but also not far from Harrisburg which offered grocery store and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and we thought it was awesome you offered firewood for the pit! The check in process wasn’t hard, but I prefer being able to sign electronic docs and enter my code and read the rules. Going to the store was a little over whelming and busy. I would...
