"The location was so convenient for our stay to visit Hocking Hills! The welcome center and pencil sharpener museum were right across the highway, and 4 restaurants were within very easy walking distance. Walmart is less than a mile away as well as ice cream, mini-golf, a petting zoo and a great coffee stop. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating. Figure out how to back in to your cabin. It can be really hard to turn around and get out. Inside the cabin was dark and dingy. The pillows were as skinny as you can buy and still call them pillows. "I had a weekend with just my youngest this summer so I let her pick a getaway she said Hocking Hills! I felt very comfortable and safe staying at this campground by myself with 3 teens. Besides all the hiking there was so much to do at the campground! Between the swings in all the trees, the playground and pond my kids never wanted to leave. I did not mind sitting on the giant neck drinking coffee. I am differently interested in coming back with more family to a bigger camper on the grounds!"
