"We loved that the Lake was right across the road from us and we were close to the Porcupine Stare Park entrance. We didn’t like that there was no staff on duty when we arrived and we didn’t see anyone all the next day either even though we were in and out several times. "Neighborhood was quiet, place was clean, bed was comfortable, and we could use the fire pit! They also had wood we could use if we didn’t bring our own firewood. Overall a great stay! Love how close we were to the porcupine mountains. Which was great after a long day of hiking. Copper harbor was about two hours north, which wasn’t too bad of a drive either since it was a scenic drive."

"Pop Pop’s Getaway was absolutely perfect for our family of six! The place was spotless and we had everything we needed at our fingertips. It was a perfect location for exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula and the Porcupine Mountains. The hosts messaged us during the stay to see if we had any questions. The booklet they had made for the cabin was super useful and well put together. We appreciated all the labels around the cabin, too!"
