"We had a fantastic stay! Stephanie, the hotel manager, went above and beyond—she was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—perfect for walking to downtown Athens attractions and great restaurants. A real hidden gem was the rooftop, offering stunning views of the city. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!"

"This property was beautiful. The description was spot on and the whole set up was perfect for our families. The younger kids enjoyed the bunk room and play room and even put on a puppet show. The pool was wonderful for the hot days. We had one issue with the grill but Kate was quick to respond and had someone out to fix super quick. We did lose power one night which was out of anyone’s control and Kate was quick to keep us updated with all the info she had from the power company . Definitely a...

"It was wonderful! Cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. Great location. Great dock and porch! Stayed outside the entire time. House was stocked with everything and then some. We've stayed at several rentals over the years at Oconee, but this was my absolute favorite- hands down!! Already planning another stay!"

"My family had a fabulous time at our VRBO on Oconee. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with great proximity to boat rental, restaurants, and grocery. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, and house was clean and well decorated. We enjoyed early morning and late night fishing, swimming off the dock, paddleboarding, and boating. We decided we did not stay long enough and will definitely be back. "

"Visited Great Waters for a wedding. This home was perfect for us (7 adults). Plenty of room to sleep and hang out. Porches were awesome and kitchen well appointed. Bob and Kelly were great too deal with and very responsive. "

"This was a wonderful location and property. David was super responsive to inquiries and requests. It was a great set-up for big gatherings—lots of room to spread out. "We had an amazing week here! The setup of the house is perfect for a large family/friends trip. Kids slept up, while parents could play games and chat later into the evening in the basement (without any concern of waking the little ones). There were so many small things, extra towels, lake/pool toys, etc that made it feel like we were staying at a family members house, not a bare minimum rental.
