"I was not impressed with the modern flair. The beauty of a elegant hotel for me is the richness of quality period furniture and decor. Mixes the two (modern with historic ) doesn't work. The transgender desk clerk was a bit much. A bid hard to look at, its' personality was acceptable. The rooms were also modernized. We have stayed here in the past. It was disappointing to see this change of mood in the hotel. Overall it was okay."

"We traveled to Marquette to snowmobile. When we arrived late to check in their wasn't enough parking for our trailers. The staff was very accommodating and made several suggestions and we found a spot to park but it wasn't ideal. "

"Clean, new(ish). Pool wasn't open when we checked in but the exercise room was clean, well-stocked and easy to use (24 hrs/day). Two nits to pick -- the mattresses were rather hard. And there were no bedside lamps -- only an overhead lamp in between the two beds for which the switch was on the wall requiring you to get out of bed to turn off the light. Otherwise, it was great. Would stay there again."

"Over all our stay was comfortable enjoyable. We had an incident where we left some snacks in the room The maid’s came and cleaned it we got back and our bag of snacks were gone. Reported it the clerk said he would check into it gave us a little bit of a discount so that was helpful."

"Nice clean room, it what I appreciated most was the staff was super good at what they do. Kyler at the front desk went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the room."

"The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious for the Marquette area. It was very reasonably priced as well. We did have a some issues with controlling the heat, but the staff was very helpful in addressing it. They also offered extra blankets. We were very satisfied and would return and our next visit to the area."
