"We were passing through on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was just as described. Nothing too fancy and no interaction with anyone while checking in or out. There was a cool looking bar area but it was closed for a private party. Not many dinner choices around the area however we took a beautiful stroll along the water to the marina where we had a drink and dinner. "

"This apartment was perfect for us. The location was great, within walking distance to the downtown area and the Ft Madison riverfront park area. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a creative prison theme that gave it a unique charm. It met all our needs and even had thoughtful extras like a sleeping mask, which was a nice touch. "Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself!
