"This beautiful home is the perfect gathering place for families. Very well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. 100% would recommend."

"The Retreat Cottage was fantastic! We spent the long 4th of July weekend at the beautiful, cozy cottage on a small working farm. The wonderful hosts provided us with farm fresh eggs from their hens upon arrival. Check in and out was a breeze. Our hosts live on property, are not at all intrusive, but available if needed. We were happy to spend time with the father and son as they tended the farm. They went out of their way to make our stay a true experience. We learned about life on the farm and...

The owner was very responsive and quick to address the few issues that came up during our stay, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at the house and never found ourselves missing any cookware or utensils. The home was generally clean, but in my opinion, it could benefit...

"Our family of four loved our stay at the Moss Side Manor house. The house was very comfortable and we loved the historic furnishings. The farm setting was very interesting. We saw the farm manager feeding the cows and he kindly gave us an impromptu lesson on the farm and area properties. The house was also close to several restaurants and a short drive to Williamsburg. All in all a great visit. Highly recommended."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We chose this home because we recently welcomed a baby and wanted to come home so our families could meet him. This location was the perfect halfway point between our two families, and the home gave us everything we were looking for—a comfortable place where everyone could come visit, spend time together, enjoy the pool and outdoors, and have plenty of room to relax and sit down for meals. The home itself was absolutely beautiful and had more amenities than we...

"Loved this house! Had our extended family in from out of town for our daughter’s wedding and it was perfect. Well stocked kitchen and really nice bathrooms. First floor bedroom was a plus for my parents. The large bunkroom was great for kids or teens as well as the games in the garage."

"Classic old plantation house that’s got modern conveniences."

"We stayed here after a wedding in Hanover and it was the perfect place to wind down and relax in a clean comfortable space. The beds were really nice and comfortable with nice quality linens. The bathroom was clean- bring your own soap, no complimentary toiletries here. The kitchen was roomy and fun to cook breakfast in. Would definitely stay here again."

"The house was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, roomy and had a huge fenced in yard. It was also adequately private surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised. Our host made us feel very welcome and appreciated."

"Totally loved our stay. We are using it as a benchmark for our future higher end short term rental."
