"House was lovely. From the pictures I was thinking the house was on the water. (Possibly I didn’t read well enough and just assumed) That was disappointing for a second until we walked a couple houses down to the river. It was peaceful and wonderful. We didn’t stay long but it was perfect for us."

"Charming cottage with updated decor. The host was very comucative during a power outage due to storms. The kitchen was nicly stocked with snacks and drinks. The pool was nice, but the backyard was not very usable due to some leftovers from repair work taking up the grassy area."

"We enjoyed our stay! It is a peaceful spot (especially outside by the water) and we really enjoyed the sunset and bird watching. I was frustrated with the communication (or lack of) from the rental company. They were non-responsive until right before our trip. Another reviewer mentioned the smell of moth balls. It was noticeable for us, and we had to air out the kitchen/living room. That helped, but I wish it was something we didn’t have to deal with. "

"The motel was more than good, it was very good. I knocked off one star just because it is older and a motel rather than a hotel, which is probably why it was reasonably priced. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the breakfast adequate and the location very convenient to restaurants, shopping and Rt 81. Aside from the inconsiderate group of people at 5:30a using the ice machine and talking loudly (our room was next to the ice machine), our stay was great. This is no fault of Best...
