"The only thing good was this was right on the beach. The condition of the rental was very poor. The windows all had sheer curtains so privacy was an issue. Windows didn’t lock. It was very outdated and run down. It took about 15-20 min to get the water in the shower warm enough to get in. I personally would not stay again"

"The location was absolutely perfect!! My 3 year old loved the little play scape on the beach. This mom was able to relax on the water and she played the whole time. "It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too."

While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. "My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. "I always enjoy my stay at Lazy Fish, the location and view can't be beat and I love that bringing the dog along is an option there. Tim and Nancy are great with communication and were helpful when we left charcoal for the grill at home. The cabins are older but I can see the updates every year. It has everything needed for a short stay in this unit."
