It was like time traveling back to the 1950’s: no tv in the room, the floors were warped, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, all the room decor was very, very old. Some of the cabins, including ours, had tarps on the roofs. The cabin next to ours had a burned roof. Jack and Jim, the managers, were very friendly and pleasant to talk to and the living room evening entertainment (Celtic/folk musician) are the only things that made this an interesting...

"The owners are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are perfect, showing a tremendous attention to detail. Breakfast was the best on this trip, and the owner showed us pictures of the island and told us about its history as we ate. After that, he picked up his fiddle and provided us with a mini concert. 10 stars is my evaluation!!"

"The property looks worn from the outside like many motels/inns but the inside was spotless, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, spacious, the air conditioner/heater worked well, ample parking.
