"I surprised my husband with a 2 night stay for his birthday. We hiked, relaxed, dined on the porch, and felt like we were able to escape while at Shoal Sound. The accommodations were perfect - clean, spacious, homey, and comfortable! Bonus- The weather was amazing. "

"We loved the cabin, its location, and access to wildlife and the adorable chickens and ducks! It was clean and very comfortable as well as providing delicious eggs. We would love to come back!"

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The location was perfect - very easy to find and private. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, the hummingbirds and fire flies. Downtown Hendersonville is about 12 miles away - takes about 25 minutes. The view is beautiful- especially the sunrise! The host was very responsive and prompt when contacted. We would definitely recommend this cabin! "

"This place was the perfect spot to get time on some trails in Dupont and Pisgah. It was located close to Brevard & Hendersonville. Watching the horses in the morning was a treat. We will be back :)"

"Four of us girls spent 4 nights in your wonderful house to celebrate a birthday. We frequently rely of VRBO for vacations. All of us agreed that this spot is among the best we have stayed at. It was very well stocked with everything we would want. While we usually bring TP, trash bags, laundry supplies, etc with us to make sure we have what we need, we found it unnecessary on this trip. "A lovely older property. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable, my son was fine on the sofa bed. The bathroom is old but was very clean and the shower had good pressure. We weren’t sure whether we had access to the washer/dryer on the landing. Would be great if that was included. Would definitely stay here again."

"We love the area and enjoyed exploring Flat Rock & Campfire Grill was an amazing spot to eat dinner. Didn't get to spend much time in the cabin but we really liked all the rustic decor, tin roof and hot tub!"

"Everything was really great. Super- clean home and comfortable plus a nice view. Highly recommended. The owner was helpful and communicative. "

"This place was so pretty and the house was large for our group of 10. Very great price for such a nice place. Enjoyed getting to see the goats, cows, chickens,and ducks. Also had a game room which the kids loved."

"Home and property were great, there is a fenced in front yard which is especially great for pet owners. The rustic feel of the home is very cute and you feel right at home even when away. We were able to explore, Pisgah, Hendersonville, Greenville, and Asheville. Would definitely stay here again or recommend it to anyone."

"La habitacion k nos diero olia mucho a cigarro y unos vecinos latosos k estaban de fiesta tomando y divirtiendose solo k no nos dejaron dormir. Nos cambiaron de cuarto y todo cambio estuvimos muy contentos disfrutando de la estancia muy buen servicio de las chicas k hacen la limpieza gracias gladis y compan̈era por su amabilidad"
